I found this kit for 50 cents at the local thrift store. It came with thread, a needle, 2 canvases, 2 frames and instructions. I'd been looking for needlework stuff for my dolls, and this is perfect! It will come in handy in the next sewing circle, too, because a couple people don't have projects. My fingertips show size.

I think I owned one of those before. They are so cute and good for AGs. (I finished mine LOL too fast for my liking)

Oh, using those for dolls is a great idea! I know I have a few somewhere, and some aren't finished yet. I should get them out for my dolls!

I think you can get them in the sewing section at Wal-Mart for a few dollars. Also, I would check at Michaels, Jo-Ann's, Hobby Lobby, and Fabric Land. I have no clue where I got mine, I have had them for a long time!

I've seen them mostly at Wal-Mart.The ones I started were ones that my mom had had for a while so I'm not sure where she got them.

I got my larger ones from this craft store called Ben Franklin, I think. But you can also get them at Walmart, Michaels, JoAnn's and other craft stores.
