first get a green piece of paper next a brown pastel scissors felt and piece of chalk tooth pick Glue Pencil
1.fold the green paper into 6ths and cut the squares out on the lines 2.on each edge of the squares out line it with a brown pastel 3.with a toothpick on the outline make a few scratches to make it appear as wood. 4.take a piece of felt thats about the size of a fingernail and glue it on to a piece of paper than write Erase on it. 5.The chalk is so you can write on the slate and you can erase it! Its a cute easy craft!

How cute! I always thought you could use a piece of slate tile, but this is much easier

What a great idea! Though do you mean pencil when you say "pastel" or do you mean like pastels, as in the painting pastels.
