I have been meaning to post about my new doll for awhile so I am afraid she is not as new anymore, but I will tell you about her now. When I first looked at OUR DOLLS I thought it was SO cool and special that they had adult dolls. It makes the town that much more accurate. So I headed over to Mytwinn.com to see what they had. The price for the custom dolls are $150, so I was a bit hesitant. Then I saw the Adopt-a-Friend dolls. These are dolls that people received as customs, but didn't like the look of them or so on and sent them back. I think that the "problem" with my doll is the front of the wig. I just noticed it a while back and I personally don't really care. Let's see if you can spot the string sticking up from the wig in this picture.... My doll's (I keep wanting to say My my twinn doll ) name is Marine Maxwell and she is Charisma's (Chrissa's) mom. She is the teacher of ballet at Starlight Studios. The only problem I have found is that their limbs squeak over time....urrr. So that is annoying because it just started the other day! If any of you want to find out about her personality you can check out this link on my website. ;D ;D dreamingofdolls.weebly.com/the-maxwell-family.htmlBut all in all, A+++++!!! I love to play with her and she is definitely the kind of doll crucial to a realistic doll town. Hallie

Congratulations! I have a custom my twinn I got a very very long time ago, so she looks nothing like me now, but she is so much fun to play with! The only problem I have found with my doll is that over time their limbs do squeak, but mine has not gotten any worse over the six or seven years I have had her, so your's might not either!

Her eyes are quite lovely, and so is her hair. I have a 'vintage' customized doll to look like my stepdaughter, which was given to her about 2002, when she was about 7. This is now Miss Ashton, though Amanda originally named her Miss Tori after her favorite femal wrestler on TV at the time...we used to watch WWF wrestling...Miss Tori (or Miss Ashton, the headmistress of Pumpkin Hill Academy now) has silver eye, but I would change her for anything.,,. I think she looks more interesting. You can check out my blog at pumpkinhillstudios.blogspot.com and click on Ashton Browne to the right on the labels, it will bring up the posts of Miss Ashton and the story behind her building and funding the academy. I in the process of getting the dolls into their school photos, but they are being nquite disagreeable at the moment....
