Hey girls! I am throwing a party for my doll next week but I need a cake! Does anyone know how to make a fake one? I could just use a real cupcake but if I made a fake one, I could use it all the time.
Thanks! ~IvyFan2009

I am going to move this to the crafts section- it seems better suited to there!

I know how! Take one of the carboard circular little boxes from Michaels. (you know the ones you can paint.) Then cover it with colored paper, rickrack, sparkles, cotton balls, and stuff like that to look like decorations. Then write Happy Birthday fancily with marker on it! That's what I did!

^Just what I was going to say. I made one too and they are the best. You could also make a paper box, like origami, turn it upside down and decorate it for the cake. Or maybe make one out of clay?

I suggest using FIMO or Sculpey. See one here. And I love making real ones, here is my fav. way: Get two circular sandwich biscuits (Oreos, or something like that!) Spread one side with chocolate frosting, and press the two biscuits together. Then frost the top and sides! It is tasty, easy and CUTE! HTH, ~Libby

You can use one of those sponges that puff up we you put them in water. cut a medium sized circle, then dunk in water untill inflated. after that decorate how you want
