I wanted to carry this post over from the old message board because I still intend to make this page on the main site.
Include the information on your doll town here:
Town name: Pleasantville Governor: Edward Merriman Population: Approx. 80-something Established: 1988 (when I got Kirsten!)
etc. :-) Greta

OK. I actually have two seperate doll towns/worlds. One is the regular town, that is called Hope Valley, population:8. The other one is my fantasy world Eondell. (AY-ohn-dehl) This is where pixies, fairies, elves, dwarves and hobbits live. Hehe, I prefer fantasy to real life when it comes to playing dolls. So, my Doll Town is actually a whole world!

(updated - November 3, 2010) Town name: Fair Hollow School name: Fair Hollow School for Girls (or FHSG; for grades 4th-12th) Located on 89 Parkview Lane, it's primarily a boarding school within the small town of Fair Hollow. It's actually quite prestigious what with quite a few international students. Governor: Er, Headmistress more likely, since the school rarely has anything to do with Fair Hollow itself, other than just residing in it. That position would be me, I think. Population: While the student body count is much larger (ideally), I have about 19-20 dolls. Established: circa 2001? Fair Hollow was originally called Parkview, which started as a small Barbie town in Virginia. Then something happened, causing most of its residents to die. It wasn't until 2004 that the town was revived...only with slightly bigger residents.

Town name: Star Valley (*gasp* someone else has a Star Valley!) lol, yep. But it makes it realistic (ponders how many Springfields there are in the US). I think Star Valley is a real town, too, but I can't remember what state it's in; it had popped up in a youtube search one time. Established: circa 2001? Parkview started as a small Barbie town in Virginia. Then something happened, causing most of its residents to die. It wasn't until 2004 that the town was revived...only with slightly bigger residents. Interesting, lol! Was it the plague?

I hadn't thought too much into it, but I actually believe a car crash was involved. Kind of morbid...I don't know...but I wasn't about to give up Parkview when I stopped really playing with Barbies. I think I might've had another town before that, but I don't remember the name.

Interesting! Well, I've got NH covered, hehe. Though wherever life takes me, my SV will most likely move, too. When that happens, I think my mom's dolls will probably "move out of Star Valley" but in theory their new town and my Star Valley will still be near each other. Pleasantville is also a real town, too, as well as in the movie, Pleasantville. Interesting about towns and their names
